Ian is the Planning Director for Northern Europe at Meta, joining in June 2015. He was the first communications planner at Meta globally.

Prior to this, Ian spent 14 years working as the Head of Strategy at some of the U.K.s leading Media Agencies, including MediaCom, Carat, Wavemaker & Vizeum.

Ian was a contributing author to the book “What is a 21st Century Brand?”

He is also a regular speaker and contributer to Contagious, Admap, WARC and the Huffington Post. Ian started his career as a Management Consultant.
